Energy Fishing & Rental Services (Energy FRS) is a leading oilfield services company specializing in fishing operations, rental tools, and well-service equipment across the U.S. Their field operations depend on fast, accurate financial processing and a stable accounting system that can keep pace with rapid invoicing cycles. Palladium Consulting Solutions has partnered with Energy FRS for more than four years, providing ongoing NetSuite enhancements, financial process optimization, and scalable system support.

Strengthening Controls as the Business Scales

As Energy FRS continued to grow, their NetSuite environment needed to keep up. AR, AP, and 1099 reporting workflows had become inefficient, approval routing was inconsistent, and a growing team required structured access management. Manual reconciliation and month-end close processes were consuming time that the back-office team didn’t have.

Palladium worked alongside the Energy FRS team to address each of these areas systematically. We implemented and refined Journal Entry approval workflows, resolved broken approval chains and rejection errors, and delivered targeted AR and AP training for new accounting staff. Custom reporting was built out across AR aging, AP invoicing, and 1099 compliance, and recurring processes like customer statement generation and month-end adjusting periods were automated to reduce manual lift. Access permissions were also cleaned up and standardized, enabling new hires to get up to speed quickly.
