Palladium partnered with KidSpark to resolve long-standing inventory discrepancies, clean up core accounting processes, and build their team’s confidence in NetSuite.

Getting the Numbers Right —
From Inventory to Month-End Close

KidSpark came to Palladium with a handful of interconnected issues that had compounded over time: incorrect inventory unit costs, A/R imbalances, improper handling of returned checks, and confusion around how vendor prepayments and tariff charges flowed through the system. Without a consistent month-end close process, discrepancies were difficult to catch and even harder to correct.

Palladium worked through each issue systematically. We corrected inventory transactions caused by invoice and payment mismatches, replaced outdated journal-entry workarounds with proper credit memo workflows, and resolved A/R “no customer” offsets. A structured plan was built to update incorrect item unit costs in bulk, eliminating the need for manual edits one record at a time. We also walked the team through how NetSuite calculates inventory value — including how labor costs factor in at the kit level — and introduced a monthly accounting period close checklist to prevent future discrepancies from accumulating.
