Managing relationships between donors, staff, and programs was central to their mission, but their inherited NetSuite environment wasn’t keeping pace. Like many organizations with prior implementations, Summit’s system had become tangled with manual reconciliation, inconsistent reporting, and data inaccuracies. These issues created daily inefficiencies and limited visibility into giving, financials, and constituent relationships, all of which threatened to slow the ministry’s growth.

NetSuite Success: From Overcomplicated to Optimized

When Summit Ministries partnered with Palladium, they were ready to restore order to their system and trust in their data. Our consultants began by carefully untangling the outdated setup, addressing inconsistencies, and rebuilding the structure to fit Summit’s operational and faith-driven needs. We rebuilt and enhanced Soft Credit and Transaction Combination functionality, introduced custom sublists to track complex donor relationships, and automated workflows to ensure clean, consistent data entry Forms across the system were standardized for usability, and NetSuite Bill Capture with OCR was implemented to reduce manual coding and errors. In parallel, our team conducted a full data cleanup and reconciliation ensuring that records from constituents and donations to events and pledges aligned across legacy and new systems. To bring clarity to Summit’s financial operations, we implemented automated bank data matching, enhanced restricted revenue and cash flow reporting, and designed new tools for soft credit and acknowledgement management.
